About the Role Global restaurant brands run their operation on the Crunchtime platform. Delivering a consistent guest experience across every location and managing food and labor costs are at the core of how Crunchtime's software is used today in over 150,000 locations across 100+ countries.
Customers such as Chipotle, Culver's, Domino's, Dunkin', Five Guys and P.F. Chang's rely on our top‑ranked platform, which now includes Zenput to manage inventory, staff scheduling, learning and development, food safety, operational tasks and audits.
What you'll do as a Senior Software Engineer
Use our full‑stack web architecture (JSON, HTML5, JavaScript, Backbone & React, Python/Django, MySQL and Mongo) to develop new features and applications for the Zenput platform, including web and mobile UI, commenting and messaging, webhooks and APIs.
Contribute to and influence design and development decisions.
Work in an agile environment with TDD/CI and DevOps best practices to quickly deliver value.
Use Jira, Slack and Zoom to communicate with the team and leadership.
What we're looking for

Hands‑on experience designing and operating software infrastructure.

CS/CIS/Systems mindset.

Strong knowledge of software design fundamentals and algorithms.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and associated tools.
Experience with MySQL/Postgres/RDBMS (ORM usage only does not count).
Ability to design the right solution without over‑engineering.
Fun, innovative, and enjoys building and hacking, not just software.
Desire to mentor and level up people around you.
Nice to haves
5+ years of relevant full‑stack / web experience.
Specific experience with React, Django, JavaScript, Python, NoSQL, Mobile Development, AWS.
Experience working remotely.
Experience with DevOps.
Experience with hardware (mobile devices, embedded hardware).
Expertise in and experience developing enterprise products and web products at scale.
Experience with distributed systems, complex UIs or other challenging engineering problems.
Open source contributions.

Compensation The annual base compensation range is $120,000 - $160,000. Total cash compensation (base + variable) ranges from $129,000 to $172,000, depending on factors such as skill, experience, and location.
