Senior Finance Associate – Special Situations
Base Pay Range
$90,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr
Company Overview A leading global private investment firm with approximately $185 billion in assets under management is seeking a Senior Finance Associate to join their Special Situations team. This role will focus on providing bespoke capital solutions and supporting growth across various strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
Prepare and review internal and external financial statements, P&L/NAV/allocation packages, and investor deliverables
Coordinate with fund administrators and auditors, and maintain internal controls and accounting policies
Partner with various teams on strategic initiatives and assist with process automation and efficiency
Apply provisions in complex legal documents, including capital call and allocation, carried interest and distribution, management fees, expenses, and investment restrictions/compliance
Manage comprehensive financial reporting, including daily investment analysis, monthly investor capital reporting, and quarterly and annual financial statements
Collaborate with IT and consultants to implement systematic solutions and efficiencies in accounting systems and reporting
Qualifications
2-4 years of experience in public accounting, audit, or tax, or other relevant work experience
Strong Excel skills, including developing efficient templates
Experience with VBA, Power BI, Alteryx, or Python is recommended
Four-year college degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
CPA, CFA, or equivalent qualification is a plus
Compensation Salary: $90,000 – $110,000, Plus Bonus
