Accounting/Auditing and Finance Industries
Financial Services and Investment Management Responsibilities
Perform monthly and periodic account reconciliations across custodians, internal systems, and client accounts Book trades across a variety of individual securities, including equities, fixed income, and other investment instruments Support daily and monthly portfolio accounting processes, ensuring data accuracy and timely reporting Produce custom accounting reports and financial schedules for select clients and internal stakeholders Assist with performance calculations, pricing reviews, and cash flow reconciliation Help maintain accounting system integrity by recording transactions, updating security master data, and resolving breaks Partner with portfolio managers, traders, and internal teams to support investment operations and account maintenance Participate in special accounting projects, system enhancements, and process-improvement initiatives Perform additional portfolio accounting duties as assigned Qualifications
Strong understanding of investment accounting principles for individual securities, including fixed income required 3+ years of experience with mutual funds, hedge funds, private equity, or other alternative investment fund accounting is highly valuable Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office; working knowledge of Bloomberg preferred Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet reporting deadlines in a fast-paced environment Benefits
