JCW is currently recruiting on behalf of a high-growth specialty insurer looking to bring a Senior Accountant into their team. This is an exciting opportunity to step into a high-impact, high-visibility role supporting financial reporting and analysis across a multi-entity structure.
The ideal candidate will bring strong technical accounting skills, a collaborative mindset, and the drive to help scale processes in a fast-paced environment. You’ll gain exposure to complex intercompany arrangements, reinsurance accounting, and multiple reporting frameworks. This is a hybrid opportunity with 3 days in the firm's Stamford office.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support budgeting, forecasting, and intercompany reconciliations.
Partner across departments to improve workflows and enhance reporting accuracy.
Assist with audits, process improvements, and system implementations.
What We’re Looking For:
5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within financial services.
CPA designation (or in progress) and a foundation in public accounting.
Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and consolidation processes.
Detail-oriented, analytical, and proactive in driving results.
