The Senior Staff Engineer leads high‑impact network initiatives, shapes strategy, and mentors cross‑functional teams. Base Pay Range
$130,000 — $260,000 per year Responsibilities
Lead the design, architecture, and implementation of complex network solutions to meet business objectives. Develop and maintain network standards, policies, and best practices for reliability and security. Partner with Security to enforce scalable, effective security practices. Design, deploy, and support SD‑WAN and wireless solutions, ensuring optimal performance and resilience. Serve as subject‑matter expert, guiding teams on network engineering strategy and incident resolution. Identify emerging technologies, recommend strategic investments, and influence executive stakeholders. Participate in on‑call rotation for after‑hours support. Qualifications
Expert knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, QoS, SDN, SD‑WAN, and network security principles. Hands‑on experience with leading vendors (Cisco, Aruba, Palo Alto Networks). Proficiency in SD‑WAN design, architecture, and deployment. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. Excellent communication, stakeholder influence, and mentorship capabilities. Experience
10+ years in Network Engineering, with at least 8 years in architecture and design. 6+ years working with open‑source frameworks. 4+ years experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or comparable cloud services. Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience. Benefits
