What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Drive pricing strategy and profitability for Contract Property & Casualty and Contract Excess products
Monitor the book of business, lead rate reviews, and manage business partner requests
Conduct complex analyses and present findings to influence business strategy
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on larger projects to meet organizational goals
Develop cross-functional work plans and ensure accurate delivery of work products
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of six years of actuarial experience
Undergraduate degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, data science, or a related field
Strong proficiency in actuarial software and programming tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Databricks, R, Excel)
Associate or Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (ACAS/FCAS) preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience working directly with underwriters and driving strategic decisions
Familiarity with advanced actuarial methodologies and data mining techniquesProven ability to present complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in leading onboarding and training for new associates
Knowledge of predictive modeling and validation techniques
