Chief Financial Officer – Skywood Recovery – Augusta, MI
Skywood Recovery is a premier, full-service addiction treatment center in Augusta, Michigan. We provide the full continuum of care from detox, residential, to partial hospitalization programs, specializing in dual diagnosis treatment to address underlying mental health concerns.
Responsibilities
Monitors and controls accounts receivables, oversees Business Office functions, facilitates weekly A/R meetings, and ensures cash collection goals are met. Improves hospital profitability by monitoring costs, payor mix, length of stay, negotiating contract terms, and preparing pro-forma analyses of new programs. Develops and monitors policies and procedures within GAAP and corporate guidelines to ensure cash flow and cost efficiency. Prepares monthly financial statements, detailed variance analysis, and internal control reports. Provides required reporting and reconciliations to the Reimbursement, Tax, and Audit departments. Prepares the annual budget in collaboration with management, reviewing prior results and forecasting facility needs aligned with UHS objectives. Performs other duties as assigned. Job Requirements
Minimum of 5 years experience in a financial leadership role in a healthcare setting. Bachelor’s degree required (Master’s preferred). Working knowledge of hospital financial operations, federal and local tax regulations, and all business office processes from registration through discharge. Proficiency in financial analysis, report preparation, electronic spreadsheets, and data manipulation within proprietary and acquired databases. Benefits
