Base pay range $200,000.00/yr - $230,000.00/yr
Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – Growing Professional Services Organization
We are partnering with a growing, multi-entity professional services organization that is searching for an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the firm’s financial operations and support its continued expansion. This is a key executive role with oversight of finance, accounting, operational processes, and strategic growth initiatives.
Responsibilities
Lead all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and cash flow management
Oversee accounting, billing, AP/AR, and financial controls; drive process improvement and operational efficiency
Partner with senior leadership to guide strategic planning and long-term financial strategy
Support ongoing M&A activities, including due diligence, financial modeling, valuation, deal execution, and post‑acquisition integration
Build and refine scalable systems, tools, and workflows across the organization
Manage banking relationships, lending activities, and capital structure
Provide proactive insight into firm performance, KPIs, and growth opportunities
Develop and mentor a high‑performing finance and accounting team
Work closely with operational leaders to align financial strategy with business objectives
Ideal Background
10–20+ years of progressive experience in finance and accounting leadership roles
Strong background in professional services, multi‑entity environments, or other complex operational models
Demonstrated experience leading or supporting M&A (buy‑side due diligence, financial analysis, integration)
Track record of implementing systems, improving processes, and building scalable infrastructure
Ability to operate at both strategic and hands‑on levels
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
CPA, MBA, or similar credential preferred
