Labor and Employment Litigation Attorney
This is a permanent position based in Irvine, CA. We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Labor and Employment Attorney (Defense) to join our legal team. The candidate will handle a variety of labor and employment matters—employment defense, labor relations, wrongful termination, discrimination—and provide expert legal advice and support to clients, ensuring compliance with all state and federal labor laws.
Base Pay Range $220,000 – $300,000 per year

Responsibilities
Provide legal counsel on employment defense, labor relations, wrongful termination, discrimination, and defense matters.
Represent clients in court and before quasi‑judicial or administrative agencies.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for individuals and businesses.
Conduct legal research and analysis of legal problems.
Prepare and draft legal documents, including contracts, deeds, and other filings.
Negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
Perform due diligence in legal matters concerning contracts, agreements, and mergers & acquisitions.
Advise on the legal implications of the company’s strategic plans.
Develop and implement the company’s policies and positions on legal matters.
Ensure compliance with employment laws.
Qualifications
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Labor and Employment Attorney.
Proven experience in employment defense, labor relations, wrongful termination, discrimination.
Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
Strong understanding of federal, state, and local employment laws.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
Detail‑oriented with ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Licensed to practice law in the state of California.
High ethical standards and professional integrity.
