In accordance with the New York State Pay Transparency Law, New York City Human Rights Law, the Colorado Equal Pay Act, and the California Pay Transparency Law, the pay range for this position in New York State, New York City, Colorado, and California is $260,000 - $310,000 per year. This range is specific to these locations and may not be applicable to other locations. An individual's actual compensation will depend on the individual's qualifications and experience.

Job Details My client's Real Estate Capital Markets practice is seeking a litigation associate to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience representing clients in commercial foreclosure litigation, creditor’s rights, commercial landlord-tenant disputes, and other real estate litigation matters. Excellent academic credentials are required and large regional, national, or international law firm experience is preferred. My client possesses a collegial atmosphere and provides its professionals with a large platform for tangible opportunities for professional growth and advancement.

At least 3-4 years of commercial litigation experience, including motion practice and discovery (including e-discovery). Courtroom experience preferred but not required.

Experience with commercial foreclosure litigation and creditor’s rights can also be considered, along with experience in commercial landlord-tenant disputes or other real estate litigation matters.

Strong research and writing skills, including the ability to draft motions and adhere to proper NY citation formatting.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Strong academic credentials.

Self-motivated and organized.
