About the Role Seeking a Senior Audit Manager with at least 5 years of public accounting experience. Responsibilities include identifying strategic consulting opportunities, developing next‑generation talent, cultivating existing and new client relationships, and leading engagements in Financial Statement Audits, Reviews, and Compilations, as well as Internal Audit, SOC Examinations, and Fraud Examinations.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in public accounting or internal audit with demonstrated audit or examination knowledge.

Current CPA license in any U.S. state.

Experience with all levels of assurance products – compilations, reviews, and audits.

Completion of the firm quality management program to sign compilations and reviews.

Adaptability to a wide variety of projects and industries.

Experience with Teammate Analytics, DataSnipper, Fieldguide, Autire, Strongbox preferred.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Root‑cause analysis and corrective action recommendation experience.

Effective time management in a dynamic environment.

Ability to provide positive, constructive feedback to all team members.

Customer‑service focus for internal and external stakeholders.

Strong leadership and management skills.

Presentation skills for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Willingness to travel to client locations locally and out of state.

Comfort with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Teams).

Duties

Manage assurance engagements, including initiation, updates, and coordination through completion.

Lead and develop audit staff, seniors, managers, and partners.

Provide detailed review for assurance projects and perform technical reviews, including signing reports.

Conduct quality management reviews for managers not yet authorized to sign reports.

Manage client relationships as needed and support all firm contacts.

Research accounting standards, write conclusions, propose solutions, and train the team.

Maintain up‑to‑date understanding of AICPA audit standards and recommend changes to the firm’s quality system.

Identify audit procedures that challenge “normal” procedures applied by other firms.

Coach and mentor seniors and staff for technical competence and career advancement.

Engage with the team across platforms (MS Teams, in person).

Propose billing on assurance projects to simplify billing for contacts.

Provide engagement status updates to contacts.

Supervise interns, staff, and seniors weekly and conduct firm‑expected one‑on‑ones.

Foster a collaborative team environment to promote retention and satisfaction.

Perform other duties as assigned.
