Data‑Driven Decision Making: Use telemetry, usage analytics, and feedback loops to prioritize investments and measure success.
Competitive & Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of market trends, customer needs, and competitor moves. Translate those insights into product opportunities and strategic differentiators.
Evangelism and Thought Leadership: Represent Splunk at customer briefings, webinars, industry events, and threat research discussions. Champion customer use cases and influence internal partners with real‑world context.
Qualifications
Security Operations Expertise: Proven experience in security operations, with a deep understanding of threat detection, incident response, and security information and event management (SIEM ) systems.
Proven Product Management Experience: Extensive experience in product management roles, preferably within the cybersecurity domain, demonstrating a track record of successful execution to bring security products to market.
Strong Customer Orientation: Skilled at working directly with technical customers, understanding their environment, and translating needs into actionable requirements.
Excellent Communication Skills: Able to convey technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences — from detection engineers and architects to executive partners.
Execution and Ownership: Strong organisational skills, with the ability to drive cross‑functional initiatives and deliver results in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred: Familiarity with Splunk platform capabilities (e.g., Search Processing Language, data onboarding, dashboards, data models) and technical expertise around Splunk Security portfolio (e.g., Enterprise Security, SOAR, SAA, TIM, UBA).
