Responsibilities
Assist in directing and coordinating activities in the Anesthesia Department.
Provide medical management for patients rendered unconscious during surgery and other medical procedures.
Perform pre‑anesthesia assessment and verify patient consent.
Discuss anesthetic options and risks with patients.
Induce, maintain, and facilitate emergence from anesthesia.
Monitor patients’ physiological condition and perform clinical interventions as needed.
Qualifications
M.D./D.O. degree from an accredited College of Medicine.
ECFMG and FLEX certification.
Completion of an approved residency in anesthesia.
Current medical license as a physician.
Location Brooklyn, NY – a highly populated borough of New York City. Highlights include the Brooklyn Bridge and Brooklyn Botanic Garden.
Compensation Hourly rate: W2 per diem $270/hr; 1099 $295/hr. Full malpractice insurance coverage is provided along with leadership and professional development opportunities.
