We are seeking an accomplished Senior Product Manager to lead the development, deployment, and maintenance of internal systems for security incident management. As a key member of our security engineering team, you will help shape the infrastructure to detect, respond to, and mitigate security incidents across Tesla’s office, manufacturing, warehousing, sales, service, and delivery facilities. Your expertise in security incident management will enhance our ability to protect critical assets, ensure operational continuity, and support the scalability of our growing ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
Define and document product requirements and features for internal security incident management systems, focusing on detection, response, and investigation workflows, informed by security best practices, operational needs, and emerging threats
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including Security Operations, Security Engineering, and Environment Health & Safety teams, to design and launch internal tools and systems that streamline incident identification, triage, and resolution processes
Engage with Security and Incident Response teams to understand operational challenges, identify requirements, and develop solutions to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of incident management
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Security leadership, engineering teams, and external vendors
Analyze incident data, system performance metrics, and feedback from security teams to identify opportunities for tool enhancements and process improvements in incident management workflows
Develop and manage product roadmaps for security incident management systems, prioritizing initiatives based on business objectives and evolving security threats
Partner with Data and Analytics teams to leverage data‑driven insights to inform strategic product decisions for security infrastructure
Stay informed about industry trends, emerging security threats, and advancements in incident management technologies, identifying opportunities to integrate innovative solutions into internal systems
What You’ll Bring
5‑7 years of experience in product management, with a focus on developing and optimizing security tools, incident management systems, or related internal platforms
Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams
Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex security data and drive data‑informed decisions
Ability to excel in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines
Process‑oriented mindset with a passion for optimizing security workflows and operational efficiency
Experience in cybersecurity, incident response, or security operations, preferably in high‑tech or automotive industries
Nice to have: Knowledge of security incident management frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27035) or experience with Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems
Familiarity with data analytics tools for security monitoring and threat detection

Expected Compensation $128,000 – $228,000 annual salary + cash and stock awards + benefits.
