Position Summary
The UNC Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gynecologic Oncologist for a full‑time, tenure‑track or variable‑track faculty position. Responsibilities include comprehensive care of patients (outpatient, inpatient, and surgery), education of medical students, residents, and fellows, and participation in the division’s research mission. Patients include women with gynecologic cancers, cervical and vulvar dysplasia, and those at increased risk of developing gynecologic malignancies and benign complex gynecologic pathologies. The UNC Division of Gynecologic Oncology currently consists of 9 physicians, 3 advanced practice providers, 6 nurse navigators, and 6 fellows in training. Clinical assignments will be at UNC Hospital with a second assignment at either REX Hospital or Cone Health Hospital, but not all three. The position will share night and weekend call with other providers. Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
Completion of a 4‑year ACGME residency in Obstetrics & Gynecology and an ABOG approved 3‑year fellowship in Gynecologic Oncology. Experience working as a gynecologic oncologist in an academic setting. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
