Position Summary The University of North Carolina's Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology is recruiting a non-tenure track, open rank faculty member within the Division of Maternal-Fetal Medicine. The Division's clinical programs include a wide range of high‑risk obstetric care, perinatal consultation, prenatal diagnosis, ultrasound, genetic services, invasive fetal therapy, and perinatal outreach. Division faculty actively participate in student and resident teaching and provide subspecialty training for six Maternal‑Fetal Medicine fellows through its ACGME-approved fellowship program.

Responsibilities

Deliver high‑risk obstetric care

Provide perinatal consultation and prenatal diagnosis

Perform ultrasound and genetic services

Conduct invasive fetal therapy

Participate in perinatal outreach

Teach and mentor medical residents and fellows

Engage in clinical leadership, quality and safety initiatives

Contribute to medical education and research opportunities

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements MD or DO degree, a 4‑year ACGME‑approved OB‑GYN residency, and a 3‑year ACGME or ABOARD‑approved fellowship in Maternal‑Fetal Medicine. Board Certified/Board Eligible/Active Candidate in both OB‑GYN and Maternal‑Fetal Medicine is required. Candidates must have competence in maternal medicine, prenatal diagnosis, and a commitment to excellence in medical education.

Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience Interest and expertise in reproductive justice, health equity, community‑engaged scholarship, or quality and safety are especially encouraged. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
