Lead Storage Engineer
Pay: $130,000+ base salary, plus yearly bonus
Location: Downtown Dallas (Hybrid work arrangement)

Requirements
Proven experience managing SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage solutions
Hands‑on expertise with storage protocols like Fiber Channel, iSCSI, NFS, SMB/CIFS, Nimble, and object storage (S3)
Strong knowledge of storage hardware from vendors such as NetApp, Dell EMC, Cohesity, HPE
Experience with storage virtualization solutions (e.g., VMware vSAN)
Knowledge of storage performance tuning, capacity planning, and security compliance
Ability to manage multi‑site storage environments within physical data centers
Experience leading storage migrations, upgrades, and disaster recovery projects
Excellent troubleshooting and team collaboration skills
Ability to strategically plan storage architectures and oversee deployments
Familiarity with the use of storage for supporting high‑volume data environments (5+ terabytes)
Responsibilities
Manage and optimize SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage environments to ensure high availability and performance
Lead storage project planning and execution, including deployments, upgrades, and system migrations
Coordinate storage capacity planning, ensuring scalability and redundancy in physical data centers located in Dallas
Oversee procurement and vendor relationships for storage hardware and solutions
Develop and implement disaster recovery and backup strategies, utilizing Cohesity for replication and Nimble or upcoming storage solutions
Enforce data security controls and ensure compliance with industry standards (HIPAA, GDPR, PCI‑DSS)
Monitor storage performance metrics, diagnose issues, and optimize storage environments
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to develop integrated storage and infrastructure solutions
Mentor and develop team members fostering continuous improvement and technical excellence
