Job Summary
Our client is seeking a SAP IS-U Architect to join their team. This position is located in Minneapolis, Minnesota or Denver, Colorado.
Duties
Develop and maintain end‑to‑end solution architecture for SAP S/4 and any supporting non‑SAP systems
Define SAP data access and integration capabilities based on SAP S/4 processes to deliver core business functional and non‑functional requirements
Define, present, and govern SAP standards and best practices for enterprise‑wide adoption
Ensure scalability, security, observability and performance in all solution architecture designs
Lead the design and implementation of the end‑to‑end solution aligned with a business process that is primary to SAP S/4 using SAP BTP and SAP BDC and related services such as Integration Suite, Event Mesh, DataSphere and Databricks
Collaborate with functional and technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end solutions
Provide technical leadership and guidance during project execution
Establish and maintain SAP and related integration and data governance frameworks
Document, present for review and approval, and socialize standards and reusable patterns
Conduct reviews to ensure compliance with architectural principles
Stay current with SAP application, integration and data platform technologies and trends
Recommend improvements to existing landscapes
Mentor team members and promote knowledge sharing
Desired Skills/Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Science or equivalent experience
10+ years of experience in SAP technologies, including core modules and integration
5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Utilities (IS‑U)
5+ years of hands‑on experience with SAP BTP and SAP Integration Suite
3+ years of experience in AWS technologies
Experience solutioning in the S/4 HANA Utilities business processes
Expertise in SAP Cloud Integration (CPI), API Management, Event Mesh, and related BTP services
Strong understanding of integration protocols: SOAP, REST, OData, IDoc, RFC
Familiarity with hybrid integration scenarios: on‑premise and cloud
Experience in AWS integration and data movement technologies
Ability to define and enforce standards, patterns, and best practices for end‑to‑end architecture solutions
Strong knowledge of security, authentication, and authorization within the SAP architecture and across integration and data sharing landscape
Experience with designing for scalability, performance, and high‑availability
Excellent written and oral communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to lead and mentor technical teams
Ability to work across complex corporate landscapes that include multiple vendors, contractors and employees
SAP Certified Solution Architect or SAP Technology Professional Certification
Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
Knowledge of non‑SAP integration platforms and middleware
Employee‑Owned Profit Sharing (ESOP)

Compensation The approximate pay range for this position is between
$82.00
and
$117.00
per hour. This estimate is based on the information provided; final compensation may vary with experience, background and location.
