We are seeking an accomplished Senior Sales Manager to join our team at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Boston Cambridge. Strategically located in a prominent urban setting, our hotel features over 300 contemporary guest rooms and 10,000 sq. ft. of versatile event space, including a signature ballroom spanning more than 5,500 sq. ft. This dynamic environment offers exciting opportunities to engage with a wide range of group clients and drive impactful sales success.

Responsibilities

Research, solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts, maximizing new room revenue streams.

Represent the hotel in the development of market segment(s) and new customer relationships while maintaining existing relations with assigned accounts, consistently striving to maximize revenue and profitability.

Develop a business strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel and market trends, implementing marketing initiatives to capture the maximum amount of lead revenue to meet and exceed sales goals.

Apply strong sales skills to create customer value, differentiate Hilton from the competition and bring clear value to customers and their organizations.

Demonstrate mastery of the prospecting process, identify potential customers and prepare and implement call strategies.

Understand customer and business leaders expectations, adapt to a changing market, and negotiate contracts and commission agreements.

Actively engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales, Convention Bureau and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business.

Coordinate customer specifications (room, food and beverage, meeting space requirements) via lead management system, entering and maintaining pertinent account and booking information in Delphi FDC.

Shift Pattern Standard office hours (8:30 AM – 5:00 PM), with required flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional weekend coverage to support client events and activations.

Compensation Salary range: $80,000 – $90,000 annually plus a Sales Incentive Plan (SIP) commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of experience as a Senior Sales Manager within a hotel group sales environment.

Strong history of converting qualified leads into contracted events.

Proactive mindset, strong relationship‑building capabilities, and a passion for exceeding client expectations.

Excellent sales, communication, and networking skills; disciplined approach to qualifying, negotiating and securing new revenue.

Demonstrated leadership, integrity, teamwork, ownership, and a sense of urgency.
