Project Engineer
The Project Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects. This role involves coordinating with various stakeholders, managing documentation, and ensuring that project specifications are met in accordance with quality standards and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the preparation of project plans and schedules
Manage and track Requests for Information (RFIs) and ensure timely responses
Coordinate with general contractors and subcontractors for project execution
Prepare and process change orders and submittals
Utilize Procore software for project management and documentation
Conduct site visits to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications
Collaborate with project managers to develop and maintain project budgets
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
2+ years of experience in a Project Engineer or similar role within commercial construction
Strong understanding of construction processes and project management principles
Proficient in using Procore and other project management software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines
