Grafton Sciences
We’re building AI systems with general physical ability—the capacity to experiment, engineer, or manufacture anything. We believe achieving this is a key step toward building superintelligence. With deep technical roots and real‑world progress at scale, we’re pushing the frontier of physical AI. Joining us means inventing from first principles, owning real systems end‑to‑end, and helping build a capability the world has never had before.
About the Role We’re seeking a Supply Chain Lead to build and manage the sourcing, logistics, and inventory systems that keep a fast‑moving deep‑tech engineering organization supplied and operational. You’ll own vendor relationships, purchasing workflows, lead‑time tracking, receiving processes, and coordination with engineering teams to ensure materials arrive exactly when needed. This role is ideal for someone who can operate with urgency and precision across suppliers, internal teams, and evolving technical requirements.
Responsibilities
Manage vendor sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, purchasing, lead‑time tracking, and order fulfillment.
Build and maintain inventory, receiving, barcoding, and materials‑flow systems that support rapid engineering cycles.
Coordinate closely with engineering, operations, and scheduling teams to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
Establish scalable procurement processes, supplier relationships, and logistical workflows for a growing organization.
Qualifications
Experience managing procurement, supply chain, or sourcing in hardware, robotics, manufacturing, or R&D‑intensive environments.
Strong instincts around vendor management, logistics, documentation, and cost/lead‑time optimization.
Ability to operate with speed and accuracy across purchasing, inventory, materials tracking, and supplier communication.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities and cross‑functional demands from engineering teams.
