Responsibilities
Lead
strategic sourcing initiatives
for R&D categories, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and research requirements.
Build strong
stakeholder relationships
to understand needs, influence sourcing decisions, and drive value.
Demonstrate deep knowledge of
pharmaceutical R&D procurement
processes, supplier markets, and industry trends.
Manage
vendor relationships , including selection, qualification, performance oversight, compliance, and risk mitigation.
Lead
RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs
to evaluate suppliers, analyze total cost models, and support negotiation strategies.
Develop and execute
category sourcing strategies
in collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior leaders.
Provide
policy, process, and system guidance
to internal partners to strengthen procurement maturity.
Ensure measurable improvements in
cost efficiency, supplier quality, and operational performance .
Maintain strong reporting, governance, and continuous improvement practices across sourcing functions.
