Job Overview
Director level tax manager responsible for managing direct tax services for senior, semi‑senior and associate staff accountants. Ensure assignments are completed on time and within budget, interact with clients throughout the year to discuss tax information, identify risk management issues and propose solutions, research and draw conclusions to address target issues. Responsibilities
Manage direct tax assignments and team members. Interact with clients to discuss tax issues year‑round. Identify risk management issues and propose research‑based solutions. Conduct research and provide conclusions to solve target issues. Qualifications
5+ years of progressive tax preparation, review and supervisory experience. Proficient in corporate, international, federal, state, and local tax (C Corps, partnerships, individuals). Strong US GAAP and tax compliance knowledge, corporate consolidated returns, partnership returns, and state combined returns. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. CPA license required. Master’s degree in taxation or equivalent preferred. Experience in public accounting preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, tax software, ProSeries, and CCH. Employment Type
