Job Summary
Responsible for the care and treatment of patients, including diagnostic and therapeutic intervention. Medical care, records/documentation, standards of care, patient and community relations, and regulatory compliance. Diagnose, treat, and help prevent disorders of the mind. Residents and/or Fellows are accepted. This position is M-F, with some weekend coverage. Position provides clinical psychiatric care in the ED and on consults. Position also provides supervision to APPs in behavioral health. Position works collaboratively with various hospital teams and the inpatient behavioral health team.
