Registered Nurse, Neuro Progressive Care, Baptist Downtown Job Summary $2,500 Sign on bonus Baptist Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Neuro Med Surg/Progressive Care Team in the Weaver Tower at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville. This is a day‑shift opportunity. RNs on this unit provide care for patients who may need advanced care due to various conditions such as Parkinson's, seizures, Guillain‑Barré, strokes, brain tumors, etc. Candidates with varied backgrounds including rehab/nursing home, Med/Surg, and PCU are encouraged to apply. As a Registered Nurse You Will Be Responsible For

Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses

Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement

Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care

Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital

Serve as patient advocate

Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities

Education Required Associate's Degree - Nursing

Education Preferred Bachelor's Degree - Nursing

Experience 1 year Medical Surgical Nursing Experience

License and Certification

Basic Life Support (BLS) Required

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred

Licensed Registered Nurse Required
