Responsibilities

Design and execute sponsored clinical studies, registries, investigator‑initiated trials, grants, research collaborations, and other research initiatives.

Act as a senior company medical representative interacting with external scientific leaders, patient advocacy groups, payors, pharmaceutical companies, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders.

Develop and execute a comprehensive abstracts and publication plan, including final abstract submissions and publications with input from key internal and external stakeholders.

Present at conferences and other scientific exchange meetings; collaborate with external clinicians to present on CareDx’s behalf when needed.

Serve as the primary clinical resource for the commercial team to provide scientific and clinical leadership for product and business development strategies.

Organize and execute scientific and clinical advisory boards.

Work with clinical operations and medical affairs to propose, implement, and monitor clinical studies.

Support scientific and clinical initiatives at key clinical and scientific meetings.

Coordinate with CareDx to ensure resources are in place for new clinical opportunities.

Work closely with VP of Cell Therapy and Transplant, R&D, and business development to evaluate new opportunities.

Qualifications

Oncologist medical degree and clinical experience beyond training required for the Medical Director role.

Prior industry experience in cell therapy therapeutics or diagnostics preferred.

Demonstrated experience leading clinical research and publications.

Understanding of diagnostic and molecular monitoring tests for hematologic malignancies, particularly for patients undergoing cell therapy or bone marrow treatment.

Results‑orientation with a track record of delivering outcomes, ownership, and accountability.

Strong initiative, creativity, independence, sense of urgency, self‑motivation, and time‑management skills.

Comfortable presenting to and partnering with executives, key thought leaders, and cross‑functional partners to solve complex business challenges.

Desire to work in a high‑growth, results‑oriented team environment.

Up to 40% travel required.

Salary Base salary range: $265,000 – $315,000 USD. Final salary offered will depend on factors including experience, industry, education, and location.

Remote Work Remote: US only roles.
