Senior AI Product Manager – Product Management

The Product Manager is a key member of the Higher Ed Courseware Product Management team, reporting to the Director of Product Management, Learning Tools and Assessments. This role collaborates across Higher Education and beyond to manage a small portfolio of applications that support the company’s open‑form assignment solutions.
What You’ll Do
Drive growth for the Writing Solutions, MediaShare, and Freehand Grader applications.
Partner with the Director of Product Management to refine strategy for owned applications using customer research, performance analysis, competitive analysis, and market data.
Champion product vision and strategy with stakeholders at all levels.
Translate strategy into an actionable roadmap by sizing opportunities, defining work, and aligning with stakeholders during go‑to‑market periods.
Work closely with Engineering, UX, and Program Management to bring the roadmap to life.
Collaborate with Portfolio, Content Production, Customer Success, and Marketing to keep strategy informed by internal and customer needs.
Serve as a subject‑matter expert on the capabilities of assigned tools and their market position.
Identify, track, analyze, and communicate key performance metrics that drive strategic business and product decisions.
Lead product research and experimentation focused on customer preferences and market dynamics.
Own end‑to‑end product ownership and become an expert in all customer and stakeholder issues.
Inform go‑to‑market strategy and ensure successful enablement of product launches and feature updates with Marketing, Sales, Portfolio, and Customer Success.
Requirements
5 years of product management experience in educational technology or equivalent roles.
Obsession with discovery and connecting with the customer.
Strategic mindset with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to execute projects in a dynamic environment.
Skill at influencing, building relationships, and collaborating across functions.
Comfort navigating ambiguous or complex issues and outlining effective solutions.
Global mindset with excellent communication skills.
Experience gathering, analyzing, and making decisions based on user feedback.
Experience assessing market opportunities and prioritizing based on impact.
Experience managing stakeholder relationships and communicating product performance via analytical tools.
Compensation Minimum full‑time salary range is $145,000 – $175,000. The position is eligible for an annual incentive program. Benefits information can be found here.
