Senior Manager, M&A Tax Join KPMG US as a Senior Manager in our Mergers & Acquisitions practice. Work with a diverse team of specialists and help high‑profile clients navigate complex tax issues. Responsibilities

Advise clients on a full spectrum of corporate tax services, including planning, research, and mergers and acquisitions activities.

Work as part of a multi‑disciplinary team that delivers due diligence and tax structuring services, communicating findings and opportunities to clients.

Partner with and assist senior members of the M&A Tax practice on technical tax issues involving consolidated returns, S Corps, partnerships, LLCs, and LLPs.

Assist clients with current issues such as bankruptcy emergence planning, out‑of‑court workouts, debt restructurings, tax basis, earnings and profits, and Section 382 studies.

Develop, motivate, and train staff and manager‑level team members.

Qualifications

Minimum eight years of recent experience in federal tax and/or mergers and acquisition in a public accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.

Licensed CPA, JD/LLM, or Enrolled Agent, or another KPMG‑approved credential. Employees must obtain at least one approved credential within one year of hire if not already held.

Knowledge of a broad range of corporate tax matters across various industries.

Ability to handle multiple engagements and client service teams simultaneously.

Excellent research and writing skills.
