Director, Operations Analytics and Workforce Management at Heartflow. Heartflow is a medical technology company advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease, with AI-driven solutions for non-invasive cardiac assessment and related analytics. Heartflow is a publicly traded company (HTFL) with global reach and experience across the US, UK, Europe, Japan and Canada. The Director of Operations Analytics and Workforce Management will be responsible for overseeing three critical areas: Workforce Planning and Optimization, Operations Analytics and Operations PMO (Project Management Office). This role leads a team of professionals, including analysts and program managers, to achieve operational excellence. Job Responsibilities
Analytics & Performance Management:
Develop and implement a comprehensive operations analytics framework to provide data-driven insights into KPIs such as efficiency, capacity utilization, cost effectiveness, and quality of operations. Workforce Planning & Optimization:
Lead strategic workforce planning to ensure optimal staffing levels aligned with service demands and growth; implement and refine models, tools, and processes for accurate labor forecasting, scheduling, and productivity optimization. Collaborate with Operations leadership, Finance, and the Commercial team to evaluate service delivery models and ensure alignment with business objectives. Program & Project Management:
Identify, prioritize, and track key strategic initiatives; drive projects from concept to implementation with cross-functional coordination; promote continuous improvement using Lean Six Sigma or similar methodologies. Experience/Education
A bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (STEM, Data Analytics, Operations Management, Business Administration, or related discipline) is required. An MBA or Master's degree is preferred. 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in manufacturing or service operations, with preference for medical device or regulated life sciences industry experience. Skills/Qualities Required
Workforce Planning Expertise:
Long-term planning, capacity modeling, cost optimization, advanced scheduling and intraday resource management. Proficiency with workforce management tools (e.g., Verint, NICE, Aspect or similar). Analytics Expertise:
Metrics identification, visualization, and data-driven insights. Proficiency with business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI, Domo or similar). Project Management:
Proficiency in project management frameworks; PMP certification preferred. Communication:
Ability to simplify complex information for senior executives. Data-Driven Decision Making:
Track record of decisions based on data and insights. Collaboration:
