Pioneer Equity Partners is now recruiting an entrepreneurial Director of Field Operations to energetically lead the buildout of Canary Home Visits, starting in the Union County and South Charlotte areas. Canary Home Visits is an entirely new concept to help seniors age well through high‑frequency home visits to support emotional wellness and fall and fraud prevention. These brief home visits occur in free‑standing homes, apartments, independent living facilities, and assisted living facilities using our custom‑outfitted and branded mobile‑care van. Canary Home Visits does not provide medical, hands‑on care, or medical equipment. The company is licensed by the State of North Carolina to provide services to seniors in the Charlotte area.
Responsibilities
Thoroughly understand, and closely adhere to, applicable North Carolina regulations
Build a breadth of strong relationships with quality referral sources throughout the service area
Launch service by being the first Care Technician in order to augment training for those that follow
Recruit, train, manage, and support additional Care Technicians to provide service to clients
Closely monitor operations to ensure the highest‑quality service, and 110% compliance at all times
Develop and enhance tools, routines, and systems to support the launch of additional locations
Proactively manage and reduce risks for all stakeholders, starting with clients and Care Technicians
Qualifications
High sense of urgency, attention to detail, humility, integrity, and endurance
College degree with high GPA and extracurricular activities
At least 5 years of relevant work experience
Track record of providing exceptional customer service
Ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced setting, and to handle emergencies that may arise
Excellent client communication and service recovery skills
Clean driving record and ability to drive a large van in/around urban areas
Comfort doing walking inspections and lifting up to 30 pounds
Wide range of basic skills to support home safety
Experience recruiting & training service personnel
A passion for supporting seniors, and a joy for serving the community
Preferred
Personal or professional experience caring for seniors
Personal or professional experience providing for the safety for others (military, police, fire, EMT, teacher, care administrator, etc.)
