Job Description We’re partnering with a fast‑growing AI company that’s building core infrastructure to power the next generation of intelligent systems. Their mission is to develop realistic RL environments, high‑fidelity simulated data, and representative tasks that enable more capable, reliable AI agents – and ultimately drive large‑scale economic impact.
What You’ll Do
Design and build realistic RL environments and simulation systems that model complex, real‑world behavior.
Develop scalable infrastructure to support large‑scale AI training and evaluation.
Collaborate closely with researchers and engineers to turn new ideas into production‑ready systems.
Leverage and delegate effectively to fleets of coding agents to accelerate development cycles.
Operate in a fast‑paced, deeply technical environment where ownership and initiative are highly valued.
What We’re Looking For
Strong technical background in AI research, reinforcement learning, infrastructure, or large‑scale distributed systems.
High agency and ability to work autonomously on complex technical challenges.
Deep curiosity and appreciation for AI research and its practical applications.
Experience working in fast‑moving, startup‑style environments.

Location: On‑site in San Francisco (preferred) or New York City
