Staff Software Engineer – Raxium
Google’s Raxium display group is developing next‑generation semiconductor display technology. We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to design and implement software that supports semiconductor manufacturing operations.
Responsibilities
Develop custom software applications for semiconductor manufacturing, including MES, SPC and Engineering software.
Architect, design, develop, test and maintain software applications.
Set up and support build and release management activities and testing before production release.
Partner with cross‑functional teams, leadership, engineers, program managers and data scientists to understand business and application needs.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
8 years of experience in design and architecture and testing/launching software products.
5 years of experience in software builds and release management.
Experience with C#, C++, Python, WPF, Winforms, Blazor, SQL Server, Oracle, T‑SQL, PL/SQL, Power BI, GEM/SECS and tool communication.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Engineering or related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
8 years of experience in C# software framework development.
Experience developing software used in semiconductor manufacturing.
Experience with relational database design and SQL queries.
Experience in developing reports and dashboards.
Compensation US base salary range $197,000–$291,000 plus bonus, equity and benefits.
