Key Responsibilities and skills
Develop PCIe drivers and related software, creating and optimizing drivers for various PCIe endpoints and interfaces.
Design and implement PCIe solutions, collaborating with SoC designs and power‑management strategies.
Test and validate PCIe systems, developing test plans and strategies to ensure reliability and performance.
Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineers to integrate PCIe technology into broader system designs.
Apply strong understanding of hardware‑software interaction, especially the PCIe bus.
Use bus analyzers and exercisers to debug and troubleshoot PCIe issues.
Work onsite in San Jose five days a week – no hybrid or remote work available.
Minimum Qualifications
8+ years of engineering experience.
5+ years of hands‑on PCIe development.
5+ years of embedded controller development experience.
Debugging experience in SSD environments.
Proficient in firmware and software programming (C, C++, assembly, scripting); experience with JTAG and in‑circuit emulator debugging.
Creative and analytical problem‑solving skills.
Ability to investigate and analyze across system areas.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Education Requirements
BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
MS degree preferred.
Experience with multi‑ARM core development.
Compensation $110,000/yr – $178,000/yr
