We are seeking a
Director of Leadership Development
to design and advance Na’aleh’s approach to leadership learning across the Greater Baltimore Jewish community.
The ideal candidate is a
leadership development professional
skilled in both training and facilitation—collaborative, relational, and accountable to mission, colleagues, and community.
What You Will Do
Developing, facilitating and refining learning experiences for lay and professional leaders.
Collaborating with colleagues to create new leadership offerings that respond to emerging community needs.
Developing tools and resources that extend learning beyond formal sessions.
Overseeing implementation and evaluation of leadership initiatives to ensure quality and impact.
Providing coaching, mentorship, and consultation to strengthen leadership practice.
Building relationships that expand and connect the network of community leaders.
Representing Na’aleh with professionalism, warmth, and integrity.
Who You Are
7+ years’ experience in leadership development, adult education, community building, or related fields.
Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in education, organizational leadership, nonprofit management, social work, or Jewish communal service.
Skilled trainer, facilitator, and mentor, with a track record of designing high-quality learning experiences.
Strong understanding of nonprofit governance and the lay–professional partnership.
Excellent communicator and relationship-builder across a diverse community.
Proficient with data and technology for measuring and improving programs.
Organized, proactive, and comfortable navigating complexity.

Salary Range $90,000–$100,000 (commensurate with experience)
