About Us Renewal Falls, powered by Thrive Now Recovery Centers in partnership with Ascension Recovery Services, is proud to collaborate and build an exceptional team dedicated to revolutionizing substance use disorder treatment. Our network includes a 60-bed SUD treatment center in Iowa City and a 50-bed SUD treatment center in Pleasant Hills, Iowa. We are excited about the potential of expanding our reach with a new 120+ bed facility in Cedar Falls.

What You’ll Do

Leadership and Team Development:

Establish a team atmosphere through leadership and employee development.

Supervise and support clinical staff, fostering a collaborative and effective team environment.

Direct recruitment and retention of the facility team, including onboarding, offboarding, coaching, orientation, performance evaluations, and educational planning.

Create and support a positive, professional, harassment-free work environment by understanding and complying with company policies and practicing exceptional communication and organizational skills.

Operational Oversight:

Administer overall daily operations, implement company policies and procedures, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and all applicable governmental standards and regulations.

Ensure accurate and current client records according to facility procedures.

Coordinate with oversight agencies to ensure quality of care.

Program Development: Develop, manage, and continuously improve the recovery center’s programs.

Manage program budgets, resources, and scheduling.

Quality Assurance and Compliance:

Ensure compliance with state licensing and regulatory standards and enforce adherence to regulatory guidelines.

Complete incident investigations and summaries for regulatory agencies.

Enforce client rights as outlined in policy and procedure manual.

Improve employee and client retention through active communication and problem-solving.

Conduct regular staff training and development sessions.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement:

Engage in community events to strengthen relationships and reinforce commitment.

Coordinate with staff from other agencies and organizations.

Partner with the Business Development team to identify and engage referral sources.

Represent the center at industry conferences, networking events, and community outreach programs.

Strategic Vision and Advocacy:

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand reach, increase referrals, and foster community engagement.

Advocate for addiction awareness, reduce stigma, and promote access to quality care.

Prepare and present program reports to the Executive Director and Board of Directors, highlighting key metrics and achievements.

Who You Are

Bachelor's degree in healthcare, finance, business or other relevant field required; master’s degree preferred.

Experience: Extensive experience in behavioral health, particularly in substance use disorder treatment (5-10 years).

Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage a large team, including hiring, training, and performance management.

Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of clinical practices and regulations related to substance use disorder treatment.

Financial Acumen: Experience with budget management, financial planning, and securing funding through grants or other sources.

Regulatory Compliance: Knowledge of state and federal regulations, including SAMHSA standards and insurance requirements.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Problem-Solving Abilities: Ability to identify and address operational issues effectively.

Strategic Planning: Experience developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance operations and patient care.

Community Engagement: Ability to build and maintain relationships with community partners and stakeholders.

Work Conditions And Physical Requirements

Work Setting: Indoors, environmentally controlled.

Body Positioning: Frequent sitting and standing; repetitive motions; hands used to handle objects. Frequently lift up to 10 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs.

Communication: Regular contact with staff, clients, and stakeholders via email, in-person discussions, public speaking, telephone, video.
