About Nimbus AI Nimbus AI builds the fastest way for companies to create, train, and resell branded conversational and workflow agents. Our platform automates data capture, optimization, and deployment so teams can transform conversations and workflows into continuously improving, revenue-generating AI products.

Role Overview We’re hiring a

Prompt Engineer

to design, optimize, and maintain the prompts, instructions, and training structures that power Nimbus’s agentic AI systems. You’ll work across product, engineering, and customer teams to craft high-performance prompts, evaluate model behavior, and build the training loops that make Nimbus agents smarter over time.

This role is perfect for someone who loves experimenting, prototyping, and pushing models to their limits—and who enjoys turning ambiguous workflows into crisp, reliable agent behavior.

What You’ll Own

Prompt design & optimization

for conversational agents, workflow automations, and partner-specific models.

Training loop development

—structuring data, crafting examples, writing evaluation prompts, and improving model reliability.

Agent behavior tuning

to ensure consistent voice, accuracy, guardrails, and performance across multiple verticals.

Experimentation frameworks

to test model variants, evaluate outputs, and iterate based on quant/qual insights.

Content & instruction authoring

for onboarding flows, tools, action schemas, and dataset expansion.

Cross‑functional collaboration

with product, design, engineering, and GTM teams to ship agent improvements fast.

What You Bring

Experience crafting prompts, building workflows, or working with LLMs in real applications.

Strong analytical instincts—comfortable evaluating model outputs, identifying failure patterns, and proposing fixes.

Ability to turn complex workflows into structured instructions, edge‑case examples, and scalable prompt patterns.

Curiosity and a builder mindset: you test, iterate, document, and refine continuously.

Comfort working with basic technical tools (APIs, JSON, dev environments) — deeper engineering experience is a plus but not required.

Excellent written communication; you’re able to write crisp, structured, well‑scoped prompts that drive predictable behavior.

Why Join Nimbus

Work at the core of how agentic AI behaves—your prompt frameworks will shape the intelligence of hundreds of deployed agents.

Be part of a small, fast team where

every contribution is visible and meaningful .

Experiment with cutting‑edge LLMs, system prompts, tools, and training data loops every week.

Grow into a senior role as our platform, customer base, and complexity expand.
