Keville Enterprises, Inc., a growing Construction Management Consulting and Inspection firm, is seeking an experienced
Senior Cost Estimator
with a strong emphasis on
electrical systems
to join our construction management consulting and inspection team. This position plays a critical role in supporting owners’ representative services for a diverse portfolio of public infrastructure projects, including transit systems, bridges, highways, tunnels, airports, ports, water/wastewater facilities and buildings.

Key Responsibilities
Develop independent cost estimates (ICE) at various design stages (conceptual, preliminary, final).
Prepare and review cost estimates for change orders and claims analysis.
Analyze project plans, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate pricing.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to validate cost assumptions.
Utilize estimating software (Sage Estimating or similar) to prepare detailed cost breakdowns.
Maintain current knowledge of industry pricing, labor rates, and market trends.
Provide expert input on risk assessment and value engineering opportunities.
Qualifications
Minimum 10 years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on electrical systems.
Proven record of accomplishment with infrastructure projects (transit, bridges, highways, rail).
Ability to develop independent cost estimates and analyze change orders and claims.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (required).
Highly proficient in the use of laptop and desktop computers.
Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Proficiency in Sage Estimating or HCSS Heavy Bid Software is highly desirable.
Experience reading construction plans and specifications and developing crews, equipment, and production rates required to build a project.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
Positive attitude, calm demeanor, and ability to work well with others.
Fluent in English with excellent writing and oral communication skills.
AACE certification (Certified Estimating Professional or similar) is a plus.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with construction management consulting practices.
Knowledge of federal, state, and local infrastructure project requirements.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
