About The San Jose Earthquakes
The San Jose Earthquakes have a mission to establish our home as the epicenter of American soccer by uniting Northern California with big dreams, big hustle, and big impact. We are seeking an Account Executive, Community Ticketing who can cultivate relationships with various communities, generate new business while simultaneously servicing existing clients, and can communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
About The Position We are looking for a self-starter who is eager to grow their career within the Sports Industry. This person will immerse themselves in the San Jose community; building relationships with schools, local organizations and non‑profits to grow our group ticketing base within those markets. They will utilize creativity, desire & ambition to think outside the box in creating new Earthquakes packages and events that would appeal to each respective group. As a member of the Group Sales team, they will assist with executing memorable pre‑game & on‑field experiences at every San Jose Earthquakes home game. This person will report to the Manager, Group Sales.

Responsibilities
Build relationships with local schools, organizations & non‑profits for the purpose of strengthening our connections within the community.
Design creative events & products to help boost group ticket revenue.
Actively prospect new business opportunities.
Build and manage a book of business year over year.
Achieve individual sales targets as set forth by the Manager, Group Sales.
Assist & participate in department/organizational events, meetings, etc.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with academic success required.
Experience working with local community groups.
Sports sales experience a plus.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to work well within a team environment.
Proven self‑motivator and self‑starter.
Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Ability to work non‑traditional hours and weekends required.
Passion for and knowledge of MLS and the San Jose Earthquakes preferred.
Bilingual a plus.
Salary: $47,000 + Commission
