Key Responsibilities

Perform a wide range of renovation and remodeling tasks on residential pools, including interior resurfacing, tile and coping replacement, re‑plastering or refinishing pool surfaces, and repairing or replacing damaged finishes.

Conduct structural repairs and defect remediation— including fixing cracks, leaks, shell movement, or other integrity issues; before beginning, perform due diligence to assess existing pool condition and document findings.

Replace or upgrade pool equipment and systems such as pumps, filters, heaters, plumbing, circulation systems, automation controls, lighting, and other mechanical or electrical components.

Install or repair coping stones, pool decking, concrete decks, pavers, or pool‑surround hardscape as part of remodel projects.

Perform demolition (when needed), excavation, plumbing, rebar/concrete work, and finishing, depending on the scope of renovation.

Handle tile work: measure, cut, install new tile for pool surfaces, steps, benches, or decorative elements.

Execute enhancements or upgrades, e.g., conversion to saltwater systems, upgraded filtration/heating, LED lighting, water features, or automation where required.

Collaborate with project managers, or lead small teams/subcontractors to complete remodel jobs on time and to company standards.

Maintain safe, clean, and organized job sites, ensuring compliance with safety procedures, building codes, and quality standards.

Communicate with clients (homeowners) on‑site regarding work scope, project progress, and any change orders or additional work needed.

Document project work: before/after photos, materials used, work performed, and any issues encountered.

Provide excellent customer service—ensuring customer satisfaction, addressing homeowner questions, and explaining renovation options and limitations.
