Salesforce is looking for proven, talented, energetic Account Executives responsible for managing a high volume of opportunities to grow our Net Zero Cloud business. The Account Executive role focuses exclusively on selling Net Zero Cloud, which is our industry-leading solution to help our customers accelerate climate action.
The AE will formulate and execute a sales strategy within an assigned territory, building pipeline and closing deals, sourcing new customers, and penetrating the current Salesforce customer base by partnering with BDRs and Core Sales Teams. They will act as a trusted advisor, consulting customers on the Net Zero Cloud solution, leading client meetings, participating in regional forecast calls, and account planning sessions. Accurately forecasting sales activity and revenue while creating satisfied and reference‑able customers are key responsibilities.
Your Qualifications At least 3 years of quota‑carrying software sales experience. Experience in the Sustainability software space is helpful.
Your Responsibilities
Meet and exceed an annual sales quota
Lead a full‑lifecycle sales process, prospecting via phone, email, referrals, LinkedIn, Salesforce relationships, partners, etc.
Identify appropriate business contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline and manage accounts/contacts within Salesforce.com
Engage in technical discussions with potential clients through product demonstrations and presentations with Director, VP, and C‑Level prospects
Establish and maintain long‑term relationships to maximize future revenue opportunities and match our sales process with customer buying processes
Able to be in territory as needed (up to 1‑2 times per month)
Maintain account and opportunity forecasting within our internal salesforce system
Build pipeline to maintain a healthy ratio of pipeline to hit sales targets (avg 3:1)
Develop trusted internal and customer relationships to create win‑win sales relationships
Effectively communicate the business value of the NetZero Cloud solution, often at the CxOs level
Generate short term results while maintaining a long term perspective to increase overall revenue generation

For New York‑based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $85,300 to $231,200. For Colorado‑based roles, the range is $77,550 to $210,200. For Washington‑based roles, the range is $85,300 to $231,200. For California‑based roles, the range is $85,300 to $231,200. For Illinois‑based roles, the range is $85,300 to $231,200. For Massachusetts‑based roles, the range is $85,300 to $231,200.
