Air & Ocean Sales Director USA's number 1 freight forwarding headhunter in Los Angeles is expanding and hiring a proven

Air & Ocean Sales Director

to drive new‑logo growth across the West Coast. This is a senior hunter role focused purely on new customers, market penetration and consistent GP production.

Commission:

10–15% from dollar one

Base pay range:

$130,000.00/yr – $150,000.00/yr

We are only considering candidates with a

documented history of generating $500k–$1m GP annually

from new‑business wins. Active customer relationships and a transferable book are essential.

We do not expect landed accounts in the first 90 days, but

new opportunities generated within 6–12 months must be strong enough to cover the cost of the seat .

What You Will Deliver:

New Air & Ocean customers across Transpacific, Transatlantic and LATAM

A disciplined pipeline and accurate weekly forecasting

Competitive commercial proposals across Air, FCL, LCL and value‑added services

Direct access to senior importers, exporters and manufacturers

Consistent annual GP production supported by strong operations and procurement

What You Bring:

5–7+ years of Air & Ocean freight sales experience

Proven annual GP of

$500k–$1m

from new‑business wins

Active customer relationships and a transferable book

Strong knowledge of pricing, routing, carriers and trade lanes

High‑level CRM discipline and clean commercial reporting
