Location:

Any EPIC Brokers office; 1 day a week in the office is required.

What You’ll Do

Process applications, policies, endorsements, binders, certificates and audit requests during non‑renewal periods.

Assist clients with policy coverage, exclusions, and related questions and support Producers in client service.

Service client accounts under the oversight of Producers or Account Executives, including research/analysis and handling client questions on coverage and contractual issues, and making routine policy adjustments.

Conduct renewal processes with Producers or Account Executives, including exposure analysis, market comparisons, quote evaluation, premium negotiation, proposal preparation, and binder accuracy.

Provide support to Producers and Account Executives by preparing presentations, proposals, and participating in client meetings.

Maintain client files and billing systems, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and monthly expirations.

Meet quality and timeliness standards in the Agency Management System and document all activities.

Other duties as assigned.

Marketing & Sales Support

Coordinate with the Sales Team on strategy, coverage determination, and pricing.

Submit applications with proper documentation and follow up for timely quotes and policies.

Negotiate premiums and commissions with underwriters and wholesalers.

Prepare proposals and provide technical support in the sales process.

Refer clients to EPIC’s Employee Benefits and Private Client Departments.

Manage workflow, maintain client relationships, and keep proposals up‑to‑date.

Continuously improve knowledge of industry developments, products, pricing, and legislation.

Other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Bring

High school diploma or G.E.D.; college degree preferred.

At least 2 years of experience in a mid‑size brokerage or carrier.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and database applications.

Strong interpersonal skills for sensitive and confidential situations, with demonstrated poise, tact, and diplomacy.

Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment and work both independently and as part of a team.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

California Fire and Casualty Broker License

Valid Driver License

The national average annual salary for this role is $88,000.00 – $90,000.00, exclusive of bonuses or benefits. Base pay will be determined based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education, while also considering internal equity and market data.
