We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Home Underwriting Department. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our underwriting processes, helping us provide exceptional service for our customers and agents.
Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive audits and quality reviews of home underwriting files to ensure compliance with internal guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
Execute targeted reviews of new underwriting initiatives related to both new business and renewal workflows.
Analyze underwriting decisions to identify trends, opportunities for process improvement, and training needs. This will involve collaborating to drive quality improvements and implement corrective actions.
Own the department’s annual agency audit process to ensure compliance.
Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and communicate feedback to department leadership and key stakeholders.
Assist in the development and maintenance of quality assurance standards, policies, and procedures.
Monitor quality metrics and support the creation of dashboards and reporting tools.
Stay current with relevant laws, regulations, and underwriting requirements affecting home insurance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
2+ years’ experience in home underwriting, quality assurance, or related discipline.
Strong understanding of underwriting guidelines, regulations, and risk assessment.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings clearly and constructively.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team in a fast‑paced environment.
High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Salary Range The pay range for this position is $60,000 to $81,500 annually. Actual compensation will vary based on multiple factors, including employee knowledge and experience, role scope, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
