to foster lasting wealth for families in emerging markets. We combine philanthropy, private investment, and market‑based solutions to end the global housing crisis. Responsibilities
Raise $1.5M in annual revenue from renewals, new, and lapsed U.S. donors. Cultivate a Builders portfolio of 10 existing donors and achieve 75%+ annual retention. Close 8 Builder opportunities from new or lapsed donors. Generate new prospects through lead‑generation activities such as network cultivation, event attendance, research, etc. Maintain metrics‑driven strategy and accurate CRM records to support your numbers. Learn New Story’s strategy, model, results, and impact. Collaborate with Marketing & Communications to plan and execute cultivation, stewardship experiences, and events for Builders throughout the year, including international vision trips. Qualifications
7+ years in social impact or nonprofit fundraising, skilled in cultivating relationships with high‑net‑worth individuals, business leaders, and families. Proven track record of securing 6‑figure and 7‑figure gifts and partnering directly with founders or CEOs. Dynamic, high‑energy relationship builder excited to expand the Builders program. Autonomous and entrepreneurial; comfortable soliciting 6‑figure and 7‑figure gifts with minimal assistance. Organized, sales‑driven team member comfortable with significant travel (~50%) to meet Builder prospects. Spanish proficiency is a strong plus. Reporting Structure
This role sits on the Fundraising team and reports to the Chief Financial Officer while collaborating closely with the CEO, CBO, and MarComms team. Location & Compensation
Remote, part‑time (~25‑30 hrs/week) based in the U.S. Payment contingent on location:
$55.00‑75.00/hour
(San Francisco) or
$45.00‑65.00/hour
elsewhere, plus up to 30% bonus. Benefits
