$150K - $250K base DOE plus equity Position Overview
The Head of Manufacturing Operations and NPI for Photonics will lead and manage the manufacturing processes and new product introduction (NPI) initiatives for our global operations and will deliver a successful ramp to high-volume manufacturing of our company's Thin Film Lithium Niobate (TFLN) products for datacom/AI, telecom, and quantum computing. This is a rare opportunity to be at the forefront of a massive technological leap forward! Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to enhance productivity and efficiency in photonics production. Oversee the entire manufacturing operation, including production planning, scheduling, and quality control. Lead new product introduction (NPI) processes to ensure successful launch of innovative photonics products. Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to streamline operations and improve product quality. Manage budgets and resources effectively to meet production targets and timelines. Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to photonics and semiconductor manufacturing. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred. 10+ years of experience in manufacturing operations, with a focus on photonics or optics. Proven track record in leading manufacturing teams and driving operational excellence. Strong understanding of production planning, supply chain management, and semiconductor processes. Experience with new product introduction (NPI) and product lifecycle management. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to enhance operational performance. Benefits
