Staff Accountant LHH is assisting our client in recruiting a Staff Accountant for a temporary 3-month assignment. This role is based in Emeryville, CA, and offers a hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and be able to manage various financial tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data
Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience
Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
