Position Overview We are seeking a detail‑oriented and experienced Audit Senior to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing audit engagements for our diverse portfolio of non‑profit clients, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and providing valuable insights to enhance financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion for non-profit clients.
Conduct thorough audits to assess financial statements, internal controls, and compliance with regulations.
Prepare and review audit work papers and financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Supervise and mentor junior audit staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
Communicate audit findings and recommendations to clients and stakeholders effectively.
Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes impacting non-profit organizations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
CPA certification is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of audit experience in public accounting, preferably with a focus on non-profit organizations.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and relevant regulations for non-profits.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
