LHH is working with a Legal Services company located in San Francisco who is seeking a skilled Senior Accountant to join the team. They are looking for a detail-oriented, self‑motivated, and experienced Senior Accountant to manage the day‑to‑day accounting operations.
Responsibilities
Handle journal entries, including payroll journal entries
Prepare monthly financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Prepare account reconciliations
Assist with month‑end duties
Support the development of the annual budget and forecasts
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (preferred)
5+ years of experience in accounting or finance
Knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles
Experience in the Professional Services industry
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Experience with a larger ERP system, preferably Aderant
