Position Summary Join a global engineering team designing and developing advanced fuel injection systems that power modern vehicles. In this role, you’ll take ownership of GDI injector design projects from concept through production readiness—ensuring world‑class performance, durability, and manufacturability. You’ll work cross‑functionally with manufacturing, testing, and application teams to deliver innovative, reliable solutions that set new benchmarks in fuel system technology.
Key Responsibilities
Lead GDI injector design projects from concept through PPAP and production release.
Manage Design Validation (DV) testing and ensure readiness for manufacturing launch.
Develop, refine, and correlate spray and flow test methods (Baton, Loccioni, OEM correlation).
Create and release detailed engineering drawings and specifications.
Partner with manufacturing to ensure design for manufacturability (DFM) and robust product launch.
Support application engineering for OEM and aftermarket programs without diverting production resources.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for GDI product issues.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline required.
5+ years of experience in fuel injector design, including 2+ years in GDI systems.
Deep understanding of injector geometry, spray pattern control, and fuel system integration.
