Senior Conveyance Engineer / Project Manager
Join AECOM as a Senior Conveyance Engineer / Project Manager, based in multiple Florida locations including Tampa, Orlando, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Ft. Myers. Our Water Business Line seeks experienced professionals skilled in large‑diameter municipal conveyance system design.

Job Description As a lead engineer and/or project manager, you will oversee municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects involving large‑diameter pipelines. Your responsibilities include:
Leading preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents.
Developing project work plans, scopes, schedules, and budgets; communicating these to the project team and monitoring production for compliance with schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
Identifying new business opportunities, coordinating and participating in client presentations, and promoting AECOM’s capabilities.
Managing contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors, drafting professional service agreements and addenda for senior management review.
Supervising technical staff, including associate project managers and design staff, managing workload and staffing.
Supporting regional marketing efforts.
Participating in professional societies relevant to the industry.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Civil, Environmental, Chemical Engineering or related field with 8+ years of experience or equivalent.
8+ years of experience designing large‑diameter conveyance systems.
Professional Engineering (PE) license in Florida.
Wastewater experience required.
Valid driver’s license and motor vehicle record review approval.
U.S. citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications:
10+ years in water/wastewater infrastructure design, including pipelines and lift stations.
3+ years of project management experience.
Experience with design‑build or alternative delivery methods.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, REVIT, MicroStation, Sewer/Water CAD.
Experience working with local clients in Florida.
Strong interpersonal, client interaction, public speaking, persuasive skills, financial management, and team leadership.

Compensation USD 130,000 – USD 160,000 per year, based on education, experience, and location.
